Intracerebrale bloeding

Intracerebral hemorrhage, a bleeding within the brain, occurs suddenly and is a form of stroke.

Sometimes operative treatment is necessary by means of open surgical evacuation or minimally invasive catheter puncture with subsequent thrombolytic therapy. When possible we prefer the latter minimally invasive “bedside” method, which is fast and effective.

The recovery of the patient, however, is also dependent on the clinical neurological status of the patient prior to treatment.
